Raku is a great experience for anyone. It’s a fun process and you don’t even need to make your own work. You are encouraged to bring your own bisqueware or you may purchase a piece of bisqueware at ThePottery. You can select from a group of simple forms, vases, and tea bowls that were made at ThePottery.

Learn about glazes: metallic and colorful. Lynn has experience creating glazes and makes almost all of the glazes available for your use during the workshop.

You will get to experience the firing process from beginning to end, learn to glaze your pieces and see them being fired and smoked. No previous clay experience necessary.

Note:  If you wish to be directly involved in the firing, be sure to wear all natural fabrics and closed-toe shoes for your safety.

Questions? Please email Lynn at [email protected] or call 360-758-2815.
