DESCRIPTION: 

Join the Borrego Art Institute for a Figure Drawing class! An instructor will be available to answer questions and guide the 2-hour session. This relaxed studio class will give you the chance to practice the human form and your skills of observation. The live model is clothed. Students are asked to bring their own materials and ANY MEDIUM is welcome. All skill levels are welcome, keep in mind that figure drawing can be difficult and takes a lot of practice. Figure drawing is one of the fundamental practices that all artists benefit from at any point in their practice. Come freshen up your skills!

Students are asked to bring their own supplies. A few materials will be available if something is forgotten.

BIO:

Cody Magee is the Education Coordinator for the Borrego Art Institute.  He is originally from Northern Idaho and now calls the desert home. He has been creating since he was a young child taking workshops, classes and participating in theater before pursuing a professional degree in the arts. Cody got his undergraduate degree from the University of Idaho in Studio Art and Design and emphasized in oil painting but also explored other mediums.
