You’re ready to go on a bike ride, but your bike isn’t. It has a flat. Now what?
Learn how to get yourself back on your bike again with the Art of Bicycle Maintenance workshop. This hands-on workshop includes a demonstration on how to clean, lube, and adjust your bike. It will also take you through the process of changing your tire from start to finish and teach you what you need to know to reduce the chances of a repeat flat.
Bring your bike so you can change your own tire.
Included with your registration will be :
- Patch kit
- One inner tube, if needed. If you require more than one inner tube, they will be available for sale. Please email the size of your tire to [email protected]. If you don’t know the size, email him to find out where to obtain this information.
- There will be some tools on hand, but feel free to bring whatever you might need.
NOTE: Please wear closed toe shoes and clothing that you wouldn’t mind getting dirty or greasy.
Hector B. is an engineer who is curious about how most things work. From an early age, he was fascinated about taking things apart and putting them back together and has many years of “wrenching” under his belt. Now that he’s in Borrego, he’s looking to start BOBs (Butts on Bikes) and get the community cycling everywhere and enjoying what this truly amazing place has to offer.
Join him in giving your bike a good once-over and get yourself back on the road again.
